Are You Using the Correct Forms for Background Checks?

With the enforcement of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) having recently been changed to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, all FCRA forms that employers and their third-party consumer reporting agencies must use when conducting background and credit checks have been revised. The new forms used for employee notification must be utilized, effective January 1, 2013. These forms can be found at Appendices K, M, and N of this LINK.
